About Us

Although HR Imaging Partners, Inc. is a new name, the experienced people schools have worked with for years remain the same. Some schools know us as Root Studios. Others have worked with us as Halterman Photography. And still other schools have known us as Columbia Studio, Arusi-Garlyn Studios, or American Photography.

Although Root Studios, with more than 100 years of service, is the oldest part of HR Imaging Partners, Inc., each studio has its own proud record of providing top-level support to its school partners.

As we've initiated the changes that have transformed once staid school pictures into 21st century high-tech imaging—computerized cameras for consistent skin-tone quality, CD-ROM software that allows schools to put student photographs on appropriate plaques and awards, digital photos, special student ID software, and our high-tech production and service center in Ottawa—it became logical to adopt a corporate name that encompasses today's services.

Thus HR Imaging Partners, Inc. was born, a reflection of our continuing partnership with the schools we serve, of the enhanced partnership between our individual studios, and of the way digital technology has allowed us to expand the products and services we provide to schools in the Midwest.

What hasn't changed is our commitment to our schools—and their students. That's absolute.
